Terms & Conditions

1. About the Service

Meal Planner is a web application for meal planning, recipe organization, and shopping lists. It may use AI-generated suggestions to help you plan meals. The service is provided “as is” and is intended for informational use only.

Meal Planner does not provide medical advice. Always use your own judgment and consider allergies, intolerances, and dietary needs.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account. By using Meal Planner you confirm you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

3. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your Content

You may input content such as preferences, recipes, notes, and plans (“User Content”). You retain your rights to User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the service (including sharing within your household if you choose to invite others).

5. Credits, Plans & Payments

Meal Planner may offer free trial credits (currently 10) and paid plans/credits. Pricing, credit amounts, and plan details are shown in the product at the time of purchase. Paid services are handled through our payment provider and may be subject to their terms.

We may change pricing or plan offerings over time. If changes materially affect your paid plan, we will provide notice through the service and/or by email when required.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property or violates others’ rights.
  • Share access in a way that circumvents usage limits or billing.

7. Third-Party Services

Meal Planner relies on third-party providers (e.g., authentication, payments, hosting, analytics, and AI processing). Your use of those services may be governed by their separate terms and privacy policies.

8. Availability & Disclaimers

We aim to keep Meal Planner available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, quantities, cooking steps, and suitability for your needs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meal Planner and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, or if required to protect the service or other users.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates when changes took effect. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

13. Contact
